Pedestrian school safety programmes
Through the Safe Kids Walk This Way program, Parachute (Safe Kids Canada) has developed a multifaceted pedestrian school safety programme in a number of states. As a part of the Safe School Zones project, Parachute and Sherbrooke Safe Community is working towards creating clearer speed limit signs, installing speed limit radars, completing sidewalks on both sides of the road and building a multi-use path with space for walking and biking.
