Road Safety Education as part of a Safer System

With the support Shell Kazakhstan, Eni and local organisation Gauhar Zhol, EASST has introduced their Road Safety Education Pack to schools in the Western Kazakhstan Region as part of a wider project to develop a regional 5-year road safety strategy based on the Safe System approach. The Education Pack has been widely supported by local traffic police and regional education department. It seeks to engage children in road safety issues, with sessions including how to be safe on the roads and visible at night by using high visibility reflectors on school bags.
